Guava Sandwich



Ingredients:

  •  2 ripe guavas
  •  1 cup minced greens (mint or coriander)
  •  2 green chilies
  • A small piece of ginger
  •  1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  •  1/2 tsp chaat masala
  •  Salt to taste
  •  A few slices of bread
  • A few slices of tomato

Preparation:

  1. Remove the seeds from the guavas and grate them.
  2. In a grinder, add the minced greens, green chilies, ginger, and cumin seeds.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of grated guava and 2 tablespoons of water. Grind into a smooth paste.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and mix in the remaining grated guava and coriander powder.
  5. Add chaat masala and salt as per taste, and mix well.
  6. Take a slice of bread, spread the prepared mixture on it, and top it with tomato slices.
  7. Cover with another slice of bread and serve.
